Season 1, Episode 2: I Never Met The Dead Man

June 9, 2009 by Wendy Boswell

In Season 1, Episode 2 “I Never Met The Dead Man”, we see Peter teaching Meg to drive. However, it goes wrong when Peter crashes into a satellite dish and knocks out the city’s cable. He begins to go crazy without TV, but finds a new life in outdoor activities, which drives the family crazy in turn. Meanwhile, Stewie plots to destroy the world’s broccoli (which is something I totally support). Here are a few excerpts:

Fast Animals Slow Children

Broccoli Must Die

Sesame Street Phone

Changing the Weather

Meg Races An Amish Guy

What did you think of “Three Kings”?

May 13, 2009 by Wendy Boswell

“Three Kings” aired this Sunday, and it was pretty good! The episode was divided into three parts and they were VERY loosely based on “Stand by Me”,” Misery” and “The Shawshank Redemption.” Richard Dreyfuss narrates, and he was great. Here’s a short synopsis:

After Peter discovers the writing of Stephen King, he imagines his family and friends in three of King’s most famous works.

Here’s the episode if you missed it:

What did you think of “We Love You Conrad”?

May 6, 2009 by Wendy Boswell

Okay! I thought this was a pretty solid episode. I love focusing on Brian Griffin, and even though I’ve never seen The Hills and have NO clue who Lauren Conrad is, I thought she did a pretty good job, was even funny at times. The only thing I didn’t like was that Jillian actually did get married; I loved her and Brian together and hopefully, they will still have some scenes in the future. Here’s the episode if you haven’t seen it:

Four preview clips from “We Love You Conrad”

May 1, 2009 by Wendy Boswell

Here are four brand new clips from “We Love You Conrad”, airing this weekend:

When Brian discovers that his beloved Jillian (guest voice Drew Barrymore) is getting married, he hits the sauce to drown his sorrows. The next morning, he wakes up with more than a hangover. After realizing he has hooked up with “The Hills” star Lauren Conrad (voiced by herself), he wants to run and hide. When Brian discovers Lauren is nothing like how she’s portrayed on TV, he thinks he may have found his perfect match if only he can let Jillian go in the “We Love You Conrad” episode of FAMILY GUY airing Sunday, May 3 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (FG-619) (TV-14 D, L, S, V)
