Homer takes Marge out for a romantic evening of ice skating and hand-holding, but upon entering the rink, they encounter a curling team practicing. Marge and Homer take to the ice and discover their love for the sport, and soon after, join the curling team and compete with them in the Olympic trials. Team Springfield claims the win and moves on to the 2010 Vancouver Games where Bob Costas (guest-voicing as himself) covers the action. There’s been some speculation on why Seth MacFarlane started another show when he already had two (American Dad and Family Guy) on his plate, and here it is straight from the horse’s mouth:
“I get bored pretty quickly … The Cleveland Show, just getting that off the ground was very stimulating, it was a lot of fun to kind of build something new and to see if it could be done.”

Family Guy RENEWED (in syndication) until 2015

Fox has just announced that they have renewed Family Guy for a second four-year cycle, taking the show through the 2014-15 season.
Family Guy is Fox’s biggest cash cow, and is in fact the biggest money maker currently in syndication, reportedly just behind Two and a Half Men (I have a hard time believing that show is better than FG, does anyone every actually WATCH that show?).
This news is in contrast to vague rumors that Seth MacFarlane might actually shelve the show at the end of next season, so it’s good news indeed.
