Peter goes on a couple of really bad dates

June 13, 2008 by Wendy Boswell

In this clip from Family Guy Season Six , we see Peter go on a series of god-awful dates after the news of Lois’s untimely death in Stewie Kills Lois; one with a stick figure, one with Bonnie in which I *think* he’s having or about to have sex with her and Joe is IN THE ROOM. Cute clip of Joe in the end of the clip dressed up as Lois and yelling about slacks.

When Brian is afraid that he has lost his chance at love, he goes in search of a former flame Tracy (Harvey Fierstein) only to discover he is the father of her unruly son, Dylan. After Brian’s surprise visit, Tracy drops Dylan off at the Griffin’s so Brian can raise him. Subsequently, his new little angel begins terrorizing the Griffin household and Brian’s self-important attitude toward parenting infuriates Peter and Lois in “The Former Life of Brian” episode of FAMILY GUY airing Sunday, April 27 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Note: This was just an April Fool’s joke. :>)

Holy Freakin’ Crap! I just heard on the news that Family Guy, one of the most popular shows on the Fox network, has been cancelled AGAIN by the evil Fox overlords. What the HELL are they thinking? Here’s more information:

“Family Guy, the outrageous Fox cartoon that was canceled for the first time in 2002, will end production next month with 35 new episodes to premiere early next year on Cartoon Network and possibly on Fox in May sweeps. This cancellation comes as a surprise to everyone on the Family Guy team, most notably series creator Seth MacFarlane:

“I know we’ve had problems, especially during the writer’s strike, but I thought we had worked them out. Apparently not.”

What do you think of this? Should we start a petition or something? I can’t believe that they cancelled it again!

Tonight’s episode of Family Guy - “Peter’s Daughter”

March 30, 2008 by Wendy Boswell

RERUN!!! Tonight’s Family Guy is Peter’s Daughter:

When a flood hits Quahog, Meg winds up in the hospital in a coma, but she wakes up to a cute med student and they immediately hit it off. After Meg recovers, Peter is very protective of her, so he drives “McCutie” away. But when Meg reveals to the family that she is pregnant, Peter forces them to get married in the “Peter’s Daughter” episode of FAMILY GUY airing Sunday, March 30 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

UPDATED: March 9’s Family Guy is a rerun - McStroke

March 8, 2008 by Wendy Boswell

Sorry guys - I keep getting different information on these upcoming episodes every time I turn around. According to the officially updated Fox primetime listings, March 9’s episode of Family Guy will be McStroke:

Peter decides to grow a moustache, but then he’s mistaken for a fireman (because they all have moustaches), so he lends a hand when a fire breaks out at a local fast food restaurant. The owner gives him unlimited burgers as a “thank you,” but Peter eats so many that he eventually has a stroke. When Peter recovers, he vows to expose the fast-food company and becomes friends with a genetically engineered cow (Montalban) he meets after infiltrating the McBurgertown warehouse on the “McStroke” episode of FAMILY GUY airing Sunday, March 9 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (FG-519) (TV-14 D, L, S, V)

Voice Cast: Seth MacFarlane as Peter Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Brian Griffin, and Quagmire; Alex Borstein as Lois Griffin; Seth Green as Chris Griffin; Mila Kunis as Meg Griffin; Mike Henry as Cleveland.

Guest Voice Cast: Ricardo Montalban as the Cow

You can watch the entire thing here: McStroke.

Peter’s Daughter Recap

November 26, 2007 by Wendy Boswell

Okay, so what did you think? I thought Peter’s Daughter was pretty good, and I was glad to see that Meg FINALLY got a semi-meaningful storyline. NOTE: This is the last new episode of Family Guy to air until the writers’ strike ends (get the skinny here: Family Guy Without Seth MacFarlane? WTF, FOX!/). Here’s the recap:

  • There’s a flash flood and Meg gets her shirt snagged on the fridge while fixing Peter a sandwich underwater. Peter goes in and saves her, she’s in a coma, and the family experiences a collective change of heart towards her (well, except for Stewie).
