I receieved an advance copy of Max Payne in the mail a couple of weeks ago, and since it had a Family Guy actor in there I thought I’d give it a try. In a word: meh. Wait…..MEH. But I did enjoy Mila’s character. Here are a few images from the movie:

Speculation has been going on for YEARS that Seth MacFarlane might eventually do a Family Guy movie, and this newest quote from Mila Kunis (voice of Meg) just adds more fuel to the fire:
“It takes so much longer to put a cartoon together, and make it into a film, and make it relevant to when it comes out. It’s like, six years. It’s incredibly time-consuming.”

Mila Kunis, the voice of Meg Griffin, recently gave a VERY short interview in Complex Magazine; here’s a quick snippet:
How does traditional acting compare to voice acting?
Mila Kunis: For Family Guy, I come to work one day out of the month. I come in my pajamas, I hang out and play Ping-Pong, I record a couple pages of stuff, and I leave. I hope that job never ends. It’s like money from the sky. People are like, “Oh, can I come visit you at Family Guy?” They come and are like, “That’s it? This is all you do?”
Do you like other cartoons?
Mila Kunis: I do. I come from Donald Duck, Rescue Rangers, you know, old cartoons. I love Gummi Bears.

Mila Kunis takes role in “Max Payne”
March 10, 2008 by Wendy Boswell
Mila Kunis, who voices Meg, has signed on to take the role of an assassin out to get Mark Wahlberg in the movie adaptation of “Max Payne”; here’s more:
Directed by John Moore (The Omen-2006), Max Payne will see Wahlberg in the title role, a DEA agent who lost his family and finds himself framed for murder when he comes too close to uncovering a conspiracy. Kunis will play an assassin out to avenge the death of her sister.
Julie Silverman and Scott Faye are producing the pic, which was adapted for the screen by Saw IV scribe Thomas H. Fenton. Fox is apparently aiming for a PG-13 rating to draw in young game enthusiasts.
