Subscribe to the Family Guy Podcasts
June 30, 2006 by Wendy Boswell
Since the official Family Guy site makes my computer cry and my browser freeze up like a hairless cat in Antarctica every time I visit, I had to go the circular route in order to subscribe to the official Family Guy podcasts that are updated every week. Here’s how I did it (imagine Mission Impossible music in the background, mmmkay?)
- family guy search at Yahoo Audio
- click on either XML or My Yahoo; clicking on XML will allow you to add this content to the feed reader of your choice, clicking on My Yahoo will add it as a module to your My Yahoo page if you’ve got one.
All done! Now I’ve got Family Guy podcasts trickling in on a regular basis to my Yahoo homepage. I wish that the official Family Guy site wasn’t such a browser hog - anyone out there experience the same problems in Firefox? Seriously, I have to cross my fingers and make sure I don’t have anything up that requires saving before visiting there, because it crashes my browser every single time.
Stewie as Rocket Man
June 29, 2006 by Wendy Boswell
Here’s an audio file of Stewie singing Elton John’s Rocket Man, ala William Shatner style.
And speaking of the Shat-Man, did you know that he sold a kidney stone to Golden Palace for $75K? Weird.
Family Guy Songs - Sing Along, Kids!
June 20, 2006 by Wendy Boswell
Looking for Family Guy Songs? Here are a few that you can find, complete with lyrics, at the Quahog5News, an excellent site chock-full of Family Guy horrible, horrible goodness:
- This House is Freakin’ Sweet: WELCOME!
- My Fat Baby:”Oh my fat baby loves to eat(loves to eat)….A big old buddah belly and a breasts hang past the feet(feet).”
- I Need A Jew: “Nothing else has worked so far…So I’ll wish upon a star…Wondrous dancing spec of light…I need a Jew.”
My favorite of all time is the Fat Baby song..probably because I have some distant relatives who, uh, kind of resemble what’s going on in that whole episode.
