Family Guy one of the most downloaded torrents on the Web
May 27, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
One of my favorite sites on the Web, TorrentFreak, has released a great list of the most downloaded shows this past week, and Family Guy was third on the list. This is pretty much standard for our favorite Quahog family as far as torrents go. Which begs the question: have you downloaded a Family Guy torrent? (votes are completely anonymous):

What did you think of “Three Kings”?
May 13, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
“Three Kings” aired this Sunday, and it was pretty good! The episode was divided into three parts and they were VERY loosely based on “Stand by Me”,” Misery” and “The Shawshank Redemption.” Richard Dreyfuss narrates, and he was great. Here’s a short synopsis:
After Peter discovers the writing of Stephen King, he imagines his family and friends in three of King’s most famous works.
Here’s the episode if you missed it:

What are your favorite Meg Griffin moments?

Meg Griffin, the awkward, picked-on daughter of the Griffin family, is one of my favorite characters. She doesn’t get a lot of screen time, but what she does get is golden. Here are a few of my favorite Meg Griffin moments – feel free to chime in with your own in the comments.

Here’s the official episode description for April 26’s NEW Family Guy episode titled “Stew-Roids”:
After Stewie gets his baby butt kicked by Joe’s infant daughter, he starts hitting the gym with Peter. It seems like all of Stewie’s hard work is paying off until Peter drops a bombshell when he reveals just how Stewie got those six-pack abs. Meanwhile, Chris starts to date a popular girl at school and quickly realizes that popularity is like physics – as in what goes up must come down.
Yes! I love episodes where they focus on Chris Griffin, one of my favorite episodes of all …read more
Is Anne Hathaway going to be on an episode of Family Guy?
April 1, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
var iamInit = function() {try{initIamServingHandler(420,578,801728,”http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/Resources/Css/css2.css”)}catch(ex){}}()
Anne Hathaway, who has already mentioned that she’s a big fan of Family Guy, is rumored to be guest-starring on an episode of FG sometime in the near future (probably not this season, but next season? maybe?).
According to Life and Style, Hathaway recently visited Fox Studios in LA to tape a surprise cameo for an upcoming episode. She’s an excellent comedic actress, so I’m guessing this one will be good.
Family Guy wins court battle over “I Need a Jew”
March 17, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
The court case over the controversy surrounding the song I Need a Jew has been settled, with Family Guy coming out the winner.
The judge ruled that the song was not in violation of copying “When You Wish Upon a Star”, and in fact that the parody was just fine:
“It is precisely that beneficial association that opens the song up for ridicule by parodists seeking to take the wind out of such lofty, magical, or pure associations,” she said.
Okay! So here’s the song:
