Family Guy’s 150th episode will be May 2, 2010 – here’s a sneak peek

Yep – it’s coming up to a whopping 150 episodes of our favorite deliciously twisted show….I remember when it was just a baby, all cute and pink >>wipes away a tear<<.
The episode will be aired on May 2, 2010, and will focus on Brian and Stewie, who become locked in a bank vault together while hilarious shenanigans ensue. Here’s the official synopsis:
In the 150th episode, “Brian and Stewie,” the series honors two of its breakout characters, BRIAN (voiced by MacFarlane) and STEWIE (voiced by MacFarlane). When the pair get locked in a bank vault, they are forced to deal …read more

The Rock to guest star on Family Guy January 3!

Seth MacFarlane is getting some great guest stars for 2010: first Jane Lynch for the Cleveland Show, now Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, for Family Guy on January 3!
The episode is titled “Big Man on Hippocampus”: after Peter hits his head and develops amnesia, he forgets his family and friends, prompting Lois and the kids to move out and giving Quagmire a chance to score with the girl of his dreams. Here are a few images that Fox has released so far:

Recap of November 29 Family Guy, Cleveland Show, and American Dad

I have to say that this week’s episodes, with the exception of a few bits, sucked. And sucked HARD. I don’t think I laughed once, they were that bad. Let’s recap:
The Cleveland Show: From Bed to Worse
Basically, Rollo creates a big stink about not being able to sleep in the same bed with Donna. Yes, that’s the whole storyline. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never did. Grade: D
Family Guy: Dog Gone
I always love me some Consuela jokes, so this particular episode got me out of the funk that was left over from the Cleveland Show. …read more

Recap: “A Brown Thanksgiving”, “Jerome is the New Black”, and “My Morning Straitjacket”

Okay! I came in about halfway through The Cleveland Show’s “A Brown thanksgiving”, but what I saw was pretty good. Best moment: when Cleveland takes his dad Freight Train out on the porch to tell him that Auntie Mama is hiding a very special present.

Family Guy’s “Jerome is the New Black” was probably the best one of the season so far. Best moments: Quagmire’s anti-Brian rant in the restaurant and the Peppermint Patty cutaway. (No images from this episode have been released yet)
American dad was kind of meh for me with “My Morning Straitjacket”, mostly because I am …read more

November 8 recap: American Dad, Family Guy, The Cleveland Show

Last night was pretty much a Seth Sweep on Fox. Let’s get right to it:
American Dad, “Man in the Moonbounce”:

Good. American Dad is getting better every week, while Family Guy, while better than last season’s dismal showing, is still sputtering. Here’s a clip:
Father-Son Egging
Family Guy, “Brian’s Got a Brand New Bag”:

Why, Meg has an evil monkey too!?!? Miley Cyrus robot was good, too. I couldn’t find any clips up, but I’ll post them as I get them
Family Guy, “Quagmire’s Baby”:

VERY good! No clips up for this one up as yet, but the whole Stewie interaction with his evil clone was …read more
