Cool! Fox has just released the first images from the upcoming and wildly controversial Seth and Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show coming to us this weekend, November 8. Here we go:
The origin of Stoolbend – watch!
November 5, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
Fox has just uploaded a fun video exploring the origins of Stoolbend (ew) Virginia, the main place setting in The Cleveland Show.
In the video, Mike Henry talks about where they got the name for the town and various poop-related jokes you’ll see mentioned in the show. GROSS.
Family Guy and Microsoft are teaming up – no, seriously, they REALLY ARE.
October 14, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
Yes, it’s true – Seth MacFarlane has signed a deal with Microsoft to promote Windows 7 in a live action/comedy special due to air in November with fellow FG alumni Alex Borstein.
The show is titled “Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show,”, and will have no commercials, but they will weave in Windows 7 promo spots that are supposed to “blend seamlessly with show content”, which I’m guessing will be funny gags of various Family Guy characters trying out the new Microsoft operating system.
The Family Guy/Microsoft duo isn’t stopping there, though. They’re also embarking on …read more
Seth Green’s “mugging” a publicity stunt for Butterfinger contest
October 13, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
Remember the Seth Green mugging controversy? Most people (including myself) thought it was a big publicity stunt, especially as it’s Seth Green we’re talking about here, the master of put-ons. Anyway, it turns out that as Seth is the new face of Butterfinger, he’s promoting a big Butterfinger contest that includes this kind of adventuring. Here’s more information:
Nestlé USA today announced the launch of “Dude, Where’s My Bar?” an innovative online narrative game for consumers to help solve the mystery surrounding the October 2 theft of Green’s vintage Butterfinger bar. The “lite” alternate reality game starring Seth Green will …read more
Was Seth Green mugged?
October 9, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
There are two videos circulating the Internets right now that supposedly show Seth Green being mugged in the parking lot outside the studio, and then freaking out on his security guards INside the studio.
Here’s the mugging video first. It’s a security camera video, so the quality isn’t that great, and you can’t even really tell if it’s Seth or not, although he does walk and have mannerisms similar to Seth. Watch:
And here’s the video of Seth understandably getting very upset that his security guards weren’t there:
Now, if this is real, I feel really bad that this happened to Seth. …read more
Seth MacFarlane on MyFoxLA – watch!
October 6, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
This is actually from May, but I don’t think it’s been posted. Highlights: Seth got an angry phone call from Ellen Cleghorne for a joke, his old school principal tried to get Family Guy off the air, he wants to open up a coffee shop when he grows up (yeah right), he goes over his 9/11 story, how FG is NOT vanilla, he wants to offend everyone so nobody feels left out, religious figures are the ones most offended (which motivates him to do more), the “Freakin Sweet” show with Alex Borstein, and a bit of inane chatter. Two new Seth MacFarlane clips
October 2, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
These aren’t strictly Family Guy clips here, but they’re pretty dang funny (and gross – trust me). Anyway, here are two new clips that you might not have seen yet.

Somebody is going to die in the Family Guy universe – who is it?
September 29, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
In an interview with FoxSource, Seth MacFarlane gives us a hint that someone, we don’t know how or who, is going to kick the bucket. He also talks about Eliza Dushku possibly guest-starring. Watch:
No Emmy win for Family Guy this year
September 21, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
Dark horse Family Guy lost out to “30 Rock” in the 2009 Emmy race. Here’s a video of Seth MacFarlane at the Emmy’s:
NBC’s 30 Rock won the category for the third year in a row, beating out a seven-show field of contenders for the honor. The other nominees were Entourage, Flight of the Conchords, How I Met Your Mother, The Office and Weeds.
