New information about “Something, Something, Something, Dark Side”

Here’s the latest information about the first Family Guy episode, titled “Something, Something, Something, Dark Side” of Family Guy Season 8:
- Air Date: Sunday September 27, 2009
- Production Code: 6ACX21/6ACX22
- Episode Summary: Peter makes good on another power outage at home–by entertaining his family with a retelling of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Newcomers to the story include Mort as Lando Calrissian, Chris’ boss Carl as Yoda, and the Giant Chicken as the nefarious Boba Fett.
- Director: Dominic Polcino
- Title: The title is a joke from Season Five’s Family Guy episode, ‘Barely Legal’, in which “the emperor figured out the formula for perfect Star Wars dialogue”, which was “Something, something, something Dark Side. Something, something, something, complete.”
September 27th ??? How is that possible when that’s also the premier dates for the entire “Animation Domination” lineup ?
There’s no room for an hour long episode plus the premier of Simsons at 8, Cleveland Show at 8:30 & American Dad at 9:30.
Is that date correct ? That seems pretty odd that after the ratings success that “Harvest” was, they’d downplay “Dark Side” by not showing it as an hour episode ?
Yeah, this information is probably going to change around a bit as we get closer to the actual premiere. I’ll have it as it comes up.
