Laura Bush Killed a Guy controversy

In this Sunday’s rerun of Love BlacktuallyLaura Bush killed a guy quote. Here’s the video:

Apparently this refers to an incident that happened with Laura Bush was 17; she ran a stop sign and was involved in a crash that killed a friend of hers in another car. Rumors have been floating around ever since the crash was first reported that she might have been criminally negligent (i.e. that she may have been drinking) at the time of the crash, but no chargers were filed and no evidence of wrong-doing was recorded.
