Lois Griffin and Marge Simpson – how alike (or different) are they?

Yesterday, we talked about Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin. Today we’re going to talk about the ladies.

- Both women gave up promising careers (Lois as a model, Marge as a painter (although she does take that up later on)).
- Lois and Marge both are patient to a fault with their husband and families, putting up with far more than they should.
- Both women are the only ones in the family that encourage any sort of church attendance.
- While both women have a strong sense of morals, we see Lois and Marge both suffer with gambling addictions.
I’m sure there’s a lot more – can you think of anything else? Basically, my point in doing these comparison posts is to illustrate how similar these two shows really are, and how much Seth MacFarlane, while clearly a comedic genius, has “borrowed” from the Simpsons. Agree/disagree?

u forgot that they are both fairly good looking and skinny but have obese, moronic husbands….. and they both have semi-annoying voices : )
It isn`t true with the morals! Lois is a slut. She cheated on her husband easily, Marge didn`t wouldn`t do that.
