Stewie Kills Lois – RECAP

November 5, 2007 by Wendy Boswell

After the maddening irritation that was the Family Guy 100th Episode Special, I was reassured by how butt-clenchingly funny the official 100th episode titled Stewie Kills Lois turned out to be. Let’s have a wee bit of a recap, shall we?

Lois Griffin gets some smoker’s toothpaste and Lionel Richie’s classic album “Can’t Slow Down”, along with two tickets for a cruise from Brian. Brian is a bit disappointed that Lois picks Peter as her cruising companion rather than him.

They go on the cruise….a few good cutaways here (Ringo’s song writing skills). Peter is barred from the poopdeck for obvious reasons.

Peter and Lois get into a fight because Peter embarrasses her at the captain’s table by going on and on about her abortion in Vermont (two and a half months later Meg was born) – she goes out and broods on deck.

Brian challenges Stewie to actually kill Lois instead of just talking about it (good cutaway here to douchebags with guitars).

Stewie kills Lois.

One year later, Chris thinks Mom is just at a health spa. Joe dresses up as Lois and takes him school shopping. Peter dates, but his dates include a stick figure and boinking Bonnie while Joe is in the room.

Joe and Cleveland figure out that something’s not right with Lois’s death. Stewie throws out all his notes and gun into the garbage, and OF COURSE, Joe finds it. Peter goes on trial.

Somehow Lois shows up at the trial (no explanation of how she somehow survived about 34 bullets, which is annoying). She fingers Stewie as the killer, and….we’re done.

Here’s clips from Stewie Kills Lois:

The only annoying part? The “developmentally disabled bad cop” bit. Oy vey, was that ever stupid. And the Rosie O’Donnell thing was highly inappropriate, and therefore funny…as well as the Morse Code sex talking.

  1. You know, In the movie it would be cool if stewie actually KILLS a doll that looks like lois, and someone catches him on camera and he gets charged with attempted murder. That merman was STUPID! S-T-U-P-I-D! Stupid! Except for the explanation, that was rather, the best part. Oh, and when stewie makes Brian insult the cop, make him call a police chase on them, and then stewie gets shot and his head falls off and a bunch of wires are in there, and turnes oue that was just a robot and stewie is actually in the trunk and there are cameras in robot stewies eyes, and now that the head fell off he can’t see and he crashes into the disabled cop and he flies into a[n] [oak] tree hitting his brain so that his legs can work again, but then a coconut falls off the [oak] tree and disables his legs again! Yeah, that’s stupid. But so is that disabled cop! Why can’t the disabled guy have a different job? Oh yeah, cops have the best career. Carry on.
