Family Guy is being sued AGAIN – this time for “I Need A Jew”

Seems like Family Guy can’t catch a break in the legal department – first Carol Burnett got her panties in a twist, now music publisher Bourne Company is getting all verklempt. Here’s the full story:

According to Variety, New York music publisher Bourne Co., which owns the rights to “When You Wish Upon a Star,” is suing the animated sitcom because it believes “I Need a Jew” is a “thinly-veiled copy” of the classic Oscar-winning song featured in the 1940 Disney movie “Pinocchio.”
The episode involves dad Peter Griffin declaring he needs a Jewish accountant to do his finances.

Seriously? I don’t think so. Here’s the song “I Need A Jew”:

They might be a little similar, but that’s what a PARODY is. I see this lawsuit being thrown out pretty quickly, don’t you?
